September 3, 2011 - Busking for Change at Supercrawl
Ridley Bent is pleased to be a part of "Busking for Change" at Supercrawl in Hamilton, ON. On September 10, musicians will busk on James Street North to help raise money for children whose lives have been torn apart by war. Money collected on site and through online donations will support War Child, an award winning charity that provides humanitarian assistance to children and families affected by conflict.
Ridley will be busking at 3pm at the Library. Find out more at the War Child / Supercrawl site, and make sure to catch Ridley's performance on the York/Wilson stage at 5pm too!
July 27, 2011 - Ridley nominated for Roots Artist of the Year at 2011 Canadian Country Music Awards
Ridley Bent has received a nomination for Roots Artist of the Year in this year's CCMAs, alongside Shane Chisholm, Kirsten Jones, Corb Lund, and Jimmy Rankin.
The Canadian Country
Music Awards take place on September 12 at Copps Coliseum in
Hamilton, ON, and will be broadcast on CBC Television starting at 8:00 pm (8:30pm NT), with encore
